Doug Hay on Parenting and the Evolution of a Passion into a Business

Listen Later

This week on the podcast we sit down with Doug Hay: a new parent, plant-based ultrarunner, entrepreneur, and podcast host to discuss parenting, the transition from a passion project to a sustainable business, and his top secret hobby.

We've been communicating with Doug and No Meat Athlete for a while now, we've written a blog for them and also took part in their recent holiday fitness bundle, and we've wanted to get him on the show. We wanted to go into things besides running, though. So we talked about a slew of interesting topics including:

* how he's holding up with a newborn, and some of the strategies he and his wife are working on
* the evolution of his running business, Rock Creek Runner, from a passion project into a full-fledged business
* what he's learned through coaching running
* how he got involved with No Meat Athlete
* productivity strategies as an entrepreneur with a family
* a new rapid fire question section
* and more!

It was a blast to sit down and chat with Doug, as we share a lot of the same philosophies regarding diet, lifestyle, and business, so we're sure you'll enjoy this conversation! Definitely be sure to go listen to the No Meat Athlete and Rock Creek Runner podcasts, check out Rock Creek Runner, and follow Doug on social media (links are down below).

Go eat some plants, and do epic shit.
