Couy Griffin is a County Commission Chairman in New Mexico. He's the founder of "Cowboys for Trump" and has met with President Trump in the Oval Office. Couy was present at the Capital on January 6, 2021 where he peacefully prayed outside on the steps. He never entered the capital. But because he represents a strong conservative platform, the militarized Department of Justice arrested him and sentenced him to solitary confinement.
Now, in his home state of New Mexico, an activist judge has removed Couy from office. This unprecedented and unconstitutional ruling will be taken to the Supreme Court.
Jane Cook is a hisotrian, author and Fox News contributor. In this interview, she examines the anniversary of the writing of our United States National Anthem. With historical context, an entirely new appreciation of the song is inspired.
