We often tell ourselves if we make more money, we will be happier; if we fit into size 2 jeans, we will feel more beautiful; if we ignore burnout and try to be everything to everyone, we will receive more recognition. Speaking from experience, all of these beliefs are lies we tell ourselves to avoid facing what is uncomfortable in our current reality. In actuality, when we make more money, we spend it. When we starve ourselves and yo-yo diet, we feel like a failure as the weight creeps back on (because it will). When we try to be superhuman, it is incredibly short-lived, so we shut down, shame ourselves, and relive the same day repeatedly. Today I am going to get real with y'all as I deep dive into HOW I healthily lost 10 pounds after being STUCK for 2 years!! There is no magic potion but let me tell you there is a way to lose weight and keep it off.
