Their music represents some of the most intense music ever produced out of the pre war era. Their style was unmatched, and their music went on to influence Cajun music even up to today. Any Cajun song you hear today, more than likely stems from a Amede Ardoin song.

Joe Falcon; along with his wife Cleoma, made the first Cajun recordings in 1928. Joe, then made recordings for the major labels into 1937, recording a vast selections of recordings. Their recording output captured the change in musical styles during the late post war years. This episode features songs that featured Joe on lead vocal from those years.
