The biggest surprise was the end

The biggest surprise was the end. As the rest of the books in the series, the book is well written. I really love the metaphors used in the love making scenes - I really like the way Ms. king writes and I can't wait to read other books by her. A definite thumbs up

Conclusion

Well it didn't end the way I was hoping. I still couldn't relate to the terms that was given to the sex parts, maybe it's just me. The sex didn't do anything for me because of the wording.

'Reignited Passions' continues to deliver

Book 4 gets off to an interesting start. Linda finds out she still have feelings for Reilly as they try to reconcile. She then finds out about his involvement with Anna and decides to meet with her to compare notes. The ensuing love scene between Anna and Reilly in is as hot as it comes. The episode ends with Linda 'dropping the bomb' on John and telling him she wants out. 'Reignited Passions' continues to deliver.

Light erotic scenes without vulgarity - GREAT!

Jennifer king is a brilliant romance story teller and I continue to enjoy every book in the series. I really love the way she describes the love scenes, the description is meaningful and imaginative using metaphors to describe lovemaking without being vulgar or over erotic. Her writing allows your imagination to feel and be transported into the scene at hand. Excellent job -- can't wait to the read the next

I hope Reilly and Linda get back together they seem more of a fit then he and Anna. The relationship between John and Linda seems more business. I still can't get with the sex terms, still throwing me off.

The Plot Thickens

I am not surprised that i enjoyed book 3 of this series as much as the other two. I love the character development and I can imagine how they react under different circumstances. The pace was excellent and you can see the plot developing nicely though I have no idea what is going to happen next but with Linda's ex-partner secretly dating Linda's new partners secretary anything can happen. An excellent book and I recommend it to you.

I usually hate overly dominant male characters in books, But I kinda like Trent..and I adore Lillian...this is going to be quite the match....This is a sexy chick lit short story...that leaves you wanting more...and I cant wait for book 3...Meghan was excellent in her performance a always...and I highly recommend this series!!

Great investment!

I loved having my perspective mirrored and challenged by these well-crafted and deeply humanistic stories! Bender makes the strange familiar and the familiar strange. If you are somewhere in mid-life, if you ever worry about money, if you have aging parents, if you have children growing up in this brave new world, if you live in the United States, if you are married, or were, or might be -- if you can tolerate the absurdity of love -- I am confident that reading this book will mirror and challenge you, as well.

One of the things you're not supposed to talk about in polite company--money, which makes it the ideal theme for a book of dark, funny, unexpected stories. Having it, not having it, wanting it, spending it, how it twists souls and drives people to do to terrible or maybe wonderful things.

In regards to all the stories here

I will skip talking about my own contributions and leave that to other reviewers, but I will say that the other tales in this little tome are VERY worth the time, and not only that, but all proceeds go to an excellent cause. If you are wanting "feel good" horror, skip the introductory tale. That story alone was worth this book and perhaps the most chilling tale I have read.

The audio version is a highlight reel of excellent talent and really displays the amazing narrators that make up the Falcon Sound team.

It's Not Just Zombies!

One could say I have a horror of Horror; I certainly never go to horror movies and generally will not pick up the latest Stephen King for fear of nightmares. However, this particular anthology contains at least 15 short stories which, despite the gruesome topics, generally are brief enough that my mind could overcome the matter (and some were quite funny). Almost all are terrifically well written and exceptionally narrated. (And any I might not have liked will probably be your favorites so I can only speak for myself.) Given the variety of authors and subject matter (okay, a LOT of zombies! but lots of other stuff, too, like angels, demons, vampires, and even a few extraordinary human beings) and the multiple narrators, you are in for a marvelous set of adventures. And did I mention this is all being done to benefit MS research? Do well (enjoy reading/listening) and do good!

So, all in all, an excellent collection of short stories just in time for Christmas. The mysteries include murders, twists and even a visit to a foreign country to whet your appetite!

This is a quick first installment in a romance series...and I can see the romance coming...Lillian is head strong and young...and I think she is about to meet her match! Cant wait for #2!! Good little story and great narration!!

YOU CAN'T STOP THERE!!

At 54 minutes long, this is one super fast listen.

If you've followed serials before, you know the drill. Book one will always get plot underway, introduce main characters, and let sparks fly...

But this book ends *just* and I mean just before the hero & the heroine meet.

And after 50 minutes believe me, YOU WANT TO SEE THESE TWO MEET. Trent (Hero) needs a good shaking up. Lillian (Heroine) has had a line of a-hole bosses and really needs this last chance job opportunity to pan out with a good boss. Because she can't seem to keep her mouth shut and from telling them where they can stuff it.

Problem? Trent's worse than all of them combined.

He however has the problem on the opposite end of the spectrum; he has chased off every assistant because they are afraid of him.

CUE SPARKS, RIGHT??

She has a hellacious start to her Morning of the Interview, and the tension has been building, building, building - you just know she's about to blow her top and he's got to be aggravated beyond belief with her being late so when she finally reaches his office you are like, "Oh this is gonna be good" but...

That's when THE BOOK ENDS.
