Revelatory!

I was reading this book and the Holy Spirit was convicting me of this same slothfulness. I do not want to be lukewarm. I have been asleep. A decade ago I had the burden of the Bridegroom-this great love for Jesus Christ. I was a worshipper day and night. I had died in Christ but I entered into a season where the great intimacy with God was withdrawn. I do not know what I did wrong to break the communion. I suppose I was lurking around in grave clothes instead of being alive in Christ. I missed the voice of the Lord.

I had to walk in the knowledge of the Word. God was silent. I interceded for governments. I became a hidden one. This book woke me up. This book made me weep. This book " turned me around and put my feet on solid ground." Once more I shall pursue and overtake. I shall pursue Jesus with all that is within me and I shall know Him. I shall pursue intimacy with Jesus and come to know the Father. Earthly aspirations no longer exist for me. I will be forty years since I fell in love with Jesus. I am returning to my first love. I want to be like Mary at His feet.

My Trip to Heaven, Face to Face with Jesus by David Taylor, was an enjoyable story of his visions and spiritual experiences with heaven and with Jesus, the Holy Spirit and also with God the Father. I try not to be skeptical, but being in the presence of God the Father, seemed correct to only view feet, legs and brightness and not the entire person. One has to be careful when relating such experiences, that pride does not enter in and profit from ministry becomes a new and grand lifestyle for the author. My prayer is that funds will be directed into other ministries, orphanages, and outreaches for the poor who have little or nothing.

I have really enjoyed this book! I totally agree with all that has been written in this book. Not just because my spirit bears witness to it, but because I too have experienced a lot of the things that the author speaks of and have written in this book. It is my desire that others read this book and strive towards the prize, because it is worth more than life itself.

Profound and life changing.

This is one of those rare books that not only totally captivates the reader, but also transforms you as you read. I loved this book and have no doubt that what he has experienced was real. It makes you re assess and question your own life and for me it was if I was having the experiences with him. This was recommended to me by a mentor and it did not disappoint. A must read for anyone seeking answers about life and death, energy workers or those questioning their own existence.

I don't think so

The best that can be said of this audiobook is that the author is using a fictional narrative as a vehicle for promoting a distinctly unoriginal self-help philosophy. I've read hundreds of NDE experiences and many are reported honestly and have a ring of truth about them, regardless of whether there is any objective truth to their content, but this is not the case here. It stands out amongst NDE accounts not for its detail but for its remarkable resemblance to fantasy fiction rolled out by a wholly inexperienced writer.

No sooner has Mr Parti disappeared through the ceiling of the operating theatre than the barrage of cliched, saccharine anecdotes of self-examination begin, from making up with his dead father by understanding his motivations in mentally abusing him as a child to apologising to a bunch of farmers he beat up in a previous life.

If you want to know about the favor of God, this book is a must.

This book helps set apart the so called prosperity theology or the "name it and claim its" from the true intent of Gods Word. To receive we do have to give first. As Dr. Martin reveals to the reader, God does want to bless us with his favor but there are conditions that need to be followed. If you don't believe this, read the book and implement the conditions to see for yourself if God will favor you.

Force of Favor

I have never read a book and then immediately had an experience. Whether you want to believe me or not...I found a $100 bill in one of the pages. I couldn't believe it. The book is a very interesting read and through it, you're taught it's better to give than receive. I plan to pay it forward and do something special for some other unsuspecting soul. Page turner

Great read, it is worth every penny. The Wisdom within the pages of this book is priceless and infinite.

I am crazy about this

The bottom line is, if you want to get ahead then get this book but if you want the spiritual feeling then go for something more...err, em, you know what I mean. With the entire world talking about the credit crunch I wanted to share something special with you, and that is if you have the confidence then you can get through anything, and this book is the ideal tool. I look forward to continuing to learn more about this truly remarkable man and his life changing philosophy. This was a truly inspiring book to read. set of rules for a good life

I came away after reading this with a set of rules for a good life. With this book and the total amunt of text you will not be sold short. I like the way that the idea of how you can attract health, wealth and happiness to you merely by wishing for them is taken to the ultimate. For me I found this to be a no-nonsense book.

Modern Manifestations of Ancient Traditions

The worldwide popularity of the Harry Potter books has been seen as a boon not just for publishers, but for children who are getting excited about reading and are looking forward to reading the next one. But a large segment of American society does not see this as good news. The books are seen by some Christian fundamentalists as spiritually dangerous to children, since they introduce concepts of the occult in attractive ways. Certainly not all Christians feel this way, recognizing the books as belonging to the type of fantasies written by Christians like C. S. Lewis and others. If fundamentalists feel that the Harry Potter books are the works of the devil, however, they are in good historical company. In _Lucifer Ascending: The Occult in Folklore and Popular Culture_ (University Press of Kentucky), Bill Ellis has continued an academic query which he described in his previous _Raising the Devil_. While his current book is not an analysis of Harry Potter books and the movement against them, J. K. Rowling's works are shown to be just a contemporary part of folklore beliefs that have gone back for centuries.

Witchcraft was (and is) practiced in opposition to an increasingly rationalistic theology. The practices allow marginalized groups to use traditions to give themselves a sense of degree of control over their lives, but can also be employed by those who have no particular conflict with society. Ellis examines such hardware of the occult as the "grimoire" or magic book, chain letters (!), and even the rabbit's foot. He shows how young people are especially prone to old-time occult activity.
