Horrible. too fast. no information.

Narrator was okay with pleasant tone, but rushed like he knew he was reading a garbage cash grab and wanted to just get it over with. Looking to study for A+ ? SKIP THIS. Looking for an A+ refresher? SKIP THIS. I hope the actual book isn't like this. This is basically a subject followed by a twenty second very high level overview of that subject all the way through. Almost like a poorly written cram sheet that skips the important details.

Book is good, but sound quality is terrible

The material in the book was great. The book screeched every 20 seconds or so.

this book reads like a powerpoint presentation

This book presented a very basic introduction to aspects of current social engineering. The book is read like a high school introduction to social engineering 101 powerpoint presentation.

I came in with the expectation that the author would present empircal evidence base on the his own expirence as a professional to reinforce the topics being conveyed. I was left disappointed. I hope that future versions will incorporate case studies and analysis, and not spend an inordinant amount of time teaching me a lexacon many today already understand.

Extreemely general information

The narrator was good, but there wasn't a lot of specific information. This book felt like a long winded introduction. It seems like all of the information was generalized without any factual backup.

Good security tips

It's always refreshing to hear actual examples of hacks that have occurred and why, since these are often covered up. One real life example is worth a hundred vague suggestions

A highly practical introduction to cyber security

Hacked Again is easy to digest and understand. The author, Scott, recalls his own misfortune as a victim of hackers. Scott is a cyber security expert (yes, that's right, they get hacked too) and shares a wealth of knowledge that may be used as valuable security advice for both your personal or business information.

I thoroughly enjoyed the stories shared and certainly follow some of the advice myself. This is a book I will happily return to.

Something Everyone Should Hear

What did you love best about Hacked Again?

Scott Shober's hacked again was very well written and the narration on the audible version was equally was great. The book goes over the very basics of modern security such as how not to write a password before going into more advanced topics and describes some infamous hacks and how they could have been prevented. The book seems to be targeted toward mainly toward business owners, but I highly recommend this to anyone using modern technology.

stories from the front line

Mr. Schober writes from being there on the front lines of cybercrime fighting. Thrust into this role by the criminals themselves, he tells the tales in a language that is technical and accessible to those outside the tech field. These firsthand accounts are a great example of what is really going on. It also contains proven techniques to protect the average person from becoming another cybercrime statistic.

This book is a great overview of the fundamentals of information insecurity and the supernumerary threats we face today. This seems like a pretty solid book so far. My big problem with it isn't the content or quality, but just the format.

I buy my audiobooks to listen to while I'm driving or walking. Unfortunately this is one of those books that has lots of little writing exercises to do (Step one, write a bunch of stuff down....).

So I'll be trying for a refund on this and buying the Kindle version.

good information but my sole complaint is the narrators whistling s sound escaping his teeth as he makes s sounds and says the letter c. if you can get passed that then go ahead and give it a 4 or 5 rating.

It ranks as one of the best drone books I have ever listened to. There's so many possibilities available with drones, even for business use.

Awesome guide for drone beginners!

This is the first useful guide that I have found in helping me fly my drone. Flying a drone can be extremely complicated without searching for some advice. This book is great at explaining all the details you need to know about RC helicopters and drones alike.
