This instalment of the Soulcast comes with a head held low & an broken heart after the sad news that a good friend passed on Good Friday. I met Owen Money some years ago through our mutual love for music when he asked me to do a mix for his podcast, from that moment on Owen remained a good friend. To see his smiley face and get that firm hug was always a warm feeling, knowing you're amongst friends.
Owen had been fighting a battle with Cancer very publicly, blogging through social media his fight. Everything from hospital visits & updates to his holistic approach to try & battle the disease through diet, & good living. Sadly I never got the chance to see Owen in his last days but I know he'll be looking down with that big smile. Owen was one of the good guys, living life true, following his heart & passions and loving his fellow man through until the end. Something positive that can be taken from his parting, a leading light for us all to follow. Live your life with conviction, compassion & Love for thy fellow man.
