Habakkuk’s first complaint to the Lord is that God appears to be silent while injustice is rampant, God’s response catches Habakkuk by surprise... God speaks of raising an even more powerful and wicked nation to do his will. Habakkuk naturally asks God how this can be possible!? While we sit in the tension of chapter one, some essential elements emerge: We’ll discuss the ability for us to bring complaints to God, that God’s ways are beyond our ways, and that God is sovereign and works things to the best ends.

This workshop overviews the general process of observing, interpreting, and applying scripture, while surveying EVERY GENRE of Scripture! Each day we will be covering general process, practices, and tools for effective Bible reading and interpretation, all while seeing how everything is pointed to Jesus. The prayer being that Students are encouraged to know that whatever passage they open up to, they will be ready to chew on God's word in devotion!
