In this episode, Woods and I discuss getting clients online. We use a metaphor to explain how to think about getting a campaign to work online. The metaphor is about drilling an oil well. When you get a marketing and sales process working. It can feel like hitting oil. Especially if you turn it into a well-oiled machine.
The challenge with nailing online marketing is it takes work. It takes understanding the process so you can identify why it not working. Is it the copy, the ad creative, maybe the landing page video? An image, a word, or even a traffic source can make a funnel go from feeling like a complete failure to feeling like a machine pumping out new qualified opportunities.
If you want to get clients online, it’s rarely more ideas. It’s focusing more on solutions to the problem with one funnel. It takes iteration and execution of getting the right problems solved in the right order.
