Dr Andrea Zeffiro is an assistant professor McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. She has written about surveillance from a panoptic framework. [1] Dr Zeffiro is knowledgeable about commercial data practices, algorithmic bias, and digital social justice. [2] Dr Zeffiro and I discussed the development of individual’s perceived reality through algorithmic cultivation in digital echo chambers.
