Scott learned about Jump and its physically backed NFT marketplace when he saw a food cart in Portland, Oregon accepting bitcoin as payment. They realized that there was an opportunity around physically backed NFTs and that there was a need for a custom white label NFT marketplace. They believe that people will take the leap with respect to Jump on how they can get liquidity from or participate in this alternative asset space. With Jump, people can sell into the market or get liquidity for a portion of their physical asset and receive the money back in USD.

He began mining bitcoin in 2012, when the value of the currency was still relatively low. Over time, as the value of bitcoin rose, Emmerich's investment began to pay off. In 2017, he cashed in a portion of his bitcoin holdings, but still holds a significant amount of the currency. Emmerich believes that bitcoin is a solution to the problems with fiat currency, such as inflation and the loss of purchasing power. He believes that the value of bitcoin will continue to rise as more people adopt it as a form of currency.

I had always been passionate about abolishing the Federal Reserve, so when my friend suggested I look into Bitcoin in 2017, I dove right in. Over the years, I weathered the crypto winter, learning and investing as I went. In 2019, I became involved with Ferrum Network, a blockchain as a service company, and I eventually joined the team two years later. We built a suite of products that allowed us to generate revenue, and we've been able to scale the team to 35 members. Our core product is Interoperability 2.0, which allows developers to deploy applications across multiple networks and leverage their unique selling points. This has the potential to bring about mass adoption and reach new users.
