I’m very excited to bring you my interview with Dr. Brooke Goldner. This has been one of my favorite interviews to date because of Dr. Goldner's enthusiasm, her confidence and the hope that she exudes through the following personal and professional health-related experiences. If you or someone you know has a chronic disease or an autoimmune disorder, this is the podcast for you! As you listen to Dr. Goldner, you will soon realize this isn’t her first rodeo. She’s successfully treated countless patients and educated many medical professionals on the subject of preventing and reversing chronic diseases with diet and lifestyle changes. She has the science squarely behind her yet is able to articulate her knowledge in language for the lay person. Dr. Goldner is the author of Goodbye Lupus, a first person account of her struggle with and ultimate victory over an autoimmune disorder that consumed her for more than 10 years of her life. But, she was able to maintain a laser-like focus on her long-term goal of becoming a doctor. Helped by a loving, supportive family and, after marriage, by her husband, Dr. Goldner conquered this disorder, went on to have 2 children, which doctors said would never happen, and is now educating and helping others become healthier. A couple of house keeping items this week. I’d like to extend a big thank you to our newest patron, Jesse Cramer. If that name sounds familiar to you, it's familiar to me too! Like other supportive patrons, Jesse saw the value and long-term vision of this podcast as something he wanted to invest in. If donating to the creative tip jar of Patreon isn’t in the cards for you at this point, not a big deal.
