Dr Chana Davis - Scientist

Chana Davis is a scientist and mother of three young children who lives in Vancouver, Canada. She completed her PhD in genetics at Stanford University, with Dr. Pat Brown (biochemist turned founder of Impossible Foods). Her thesis work on the human microbiome was known as "the baby poop project". Davis then spent a decade working in biomedical research, with a focus on cancer and molecular diagnostics.

In 2018, she changed gears to focus on science communication and founded Fueled by Science. Through her website, podcast, and social media channels, Chana shares her evidence-based approach to navigating life, from nutrition, to fitness, to vaccines and, now, menopause. She also dishes practical advice and recipes for dialing up the plants on your plate.
