She then completed a rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. In 2013, Dr. Dong accepted a residency with Animla Dermatology Clinic and obtained Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in November 2016. Dr. Dong was the recipient of the Peter J. Ihrke Resident Research Award in Clinical Science. She has a special interest in dermoscopy and video-otoscopy. During her free time, Dr. Dong enjoys going on adventures with her husband and two dogs, Rosie and Brodie.
