Following the unexpected closure of one of the only two early years services in Boyle in 2023, which left a significant gap in accessible, quality early childhood care and education on local families, Boyle Community Childcare, a steering group of Boyle Family Resource Centre, emerged and after two years of community research a needs analysis report has been put together. Adrianne speaks with Christina Egan Marnell, Chairperson of Boyle Community Childcare about their findings, the urgent need for a childcare facility in Boyle, and the official launch of their needs analysis, which will take place in the Boyle Family Resource Centre on Friday, 13th June from 10am, where findings will be explained and suggestions or solutions will be welcomed.
