I had the privilege of chatting with Dr Darragh Stewart (Phd), Inwardbound Co-Founder & Scientific Lead Facilitator, to pick his brain about all things psychedelics… including the positive effects & benefits of plant medicine for HEALING from pain, suffering & trauma, & exploring consciousness and the mind through the new science of Psychedelics & Trauma Therapy.
As a scientist, Darragh is keen to cut through faux spirituality & is interested in bridging the gap between science & spirituality. Having had such a positive healing journey of his own after dealing with his own trauma and upheaval with the use of Psychedelics among other therapies and practices, he is now passionate about helping others who may also benefit from the emerging science of psychedelics by holding the retreats and collecting scientific data.
He has also embarked on trips to India immersing himself in different trauma release modalities such as somatic bodywork, breathwork, embodiment dance practices, and yoga, and is a keen meditator having sat at the Tushita Meditation center Dharamsala, and the S.N. Goenka Vipassana Center, Bodh Gaya.
Darragh is also passionate about working with Men through times of struggle and change. He facilitates men’s online workshops, events, and a men’s group for psychedelic integration in Ireland.
