We must be sure that the Lord has the final say in each of our lives – whatever the scenario may be. Oftentimes, we pursue relationships and desires that are not of God or His guidance. Don't let this become you, strive to follow Him in all you do!

While we are equipped with the armor of God needed for defense through the belt, breastplate, helmet, shield, and sandals, we also need the sword of the Spirit – with it, we are able to fend off the enemy!

When the enemy can't stop our relationship with the Lord, he aims to limit it by deceiving us about the promises and nature of God. We must defend against His attacks by being equipped with our helmet of salvation – be assured of His promise to you!

The final piece of the armor of God that we each must put on is the helmet of salvation! This helmet gives us assurance of God's promises of salvation and protects us from the attacks of the enemy. It is a vital piece we each must equip!

We are sure to undergo attacks, we must be sure we grab our shields of faith to defend ourselves and cover ourselves completely. The armor of God is already ours, we just have to recognize we have all we need through God and lean on Him!

After the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness, we must equip ourselves with the sandals of the gospel of peace! When we come to understand and consistently dwell on the good news of the gospel, we can ensure we remain peaceful amidst any situation!

The second piece of the armor of God is the breastplate of righteousness – When we realize we are saved by Christ's righteousness and not our own, we can begin to wear this essential piece of God's armor effectively!

We each must equip ourselves with God's Word – the first piece of the armor of God, also known as the belt of truth! When we are familiar with God's Word and the absolute truth within, we can better defend against the deception and attacks of the enemy!

God has plans for our lives that exceed what we can do on our own. We must recognize this and lean into His presence and guidance in order to fulfill all that He has for us!

When we get to the end of our rope in life, we need to learn to let go and let God! Give over your difficult situations into the Lord's hands and watch His provision and protection come into action. We must learn to trust in Him!
