When we enter into covenant with God, there are certain things we'll have to give up in order to move forward in our relationship with Him! Jeremiah looked forward to when the people of God would relate to Him not based on Mount Sinai but based on Mount Calvary!

In this second portion of the episode, we continue looking at the covenant between David and Jonathan. Because of this promise, Mephibosheth was blessed by David even though he was crippled and overlooked by the world. This reflects God's love toward us while we were still sinners!

David and Jonathan were the best of friends—so much so that Jonathan gave David his royal clothes. Their covenant was one of trust, and it enabled David to wear a prince's robe; it foreshadows the righteousness of Christ that we now put on as a result of Christ's finished work!

In this second portion of the episode, we continue looking at the faith Abraham had in God despite the difficulty in keeping hope alive after decades of waiting. No matter what man's timetable looks like, God's timing is always best, and we can trust Him to fulfill His promises!

Genesis 15 shows us what happens when we trust God and make Him our greatest reward. Abraham trusted that God's promise to him would be fulfilled, even though he couldn't see the evidence of that promise yet. He never lost faith in God, because he knew who He is!

How can we rejoice in the Lord in the midst of dire circumstances? Paul gives us a powerful example. From prison, he and Silas praised God and offered Him unconditional worship. God commands us to rejoice in Him always and to not be anxious about anything. Let's let go of our worries in exchange for His peace!

In this episode, we'll look at the sons of Isaac and Rebekah. They were extremely different, and God told the family that they'd be two different nations. Jacob and Esau were at odds for years, and Jacob learned throughout this process that the only way for him to survive was to hold on to God!

Romans 8 tells us that everything works together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Even when we don't fully understand why things happen the way they do, we can trust in our God and in His sovereignty and ability to work everything out for His perfect plan!

In the spring, when kings went to war, David stayed home. The consequences of this decision and the ones to follow would ripple through generations. We need to be careful to stay within our anointing and pursue the purposes to which God has called us!

One of the purposes of prophecy is to build our faith; after all, only God can fulfill prophecy! In this episode, we'll take a look at some of the Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament and how Jesus fulfilled them!
