Take a moment and think about your worst moment for a minute. That time you did or said that one thing wish you had never done. We all have worst moments. Don't let them turn into shame that defines you. Don't let your worst moment define your heart! We take those worst moments, and we can begin to believe what they tell us. That we aren't worth as much. That we don't have value. That we can never be loved because of them. That we can't ever reach our destiny.

You are not your worst moment. Yes, that moment did happen in the past. We do make mistakes, but our mistakes and worst moments are not WHO you are. Leave that identity behind you because you are forgiven. The plans God has for you on earth is way bigger than that moment, so leave it in the past and do not give it another thought. Men, you have the ability to impact every women in your life with honor, strength and respect! Your voice is the most powerful voice in your relationships. Use it to impact your wife, your daughters and your female work relationships.

Women love to be praised. Give your wife praise. Praise her for who she is more than what she does. Tell her she is loved, she is beautiful, she is amazing, that she satisfies you and that you are so thankful for her in your life. Call out your wife's good traits. Tell her that you love her honesty, pureness, work ethic and good heartedness. Let her know that you see her heart and you love what you see.

Tell your daughters that they are loved, smart, capable and that you are proud of them. You have so much potential to speak into your daughters' lives by doing this because they want to please you. They want to make you proud since you think they are rockstars and capable of anything. Treat female relationships at work like they are your sisters. Build relationships in a way which naturally leads toward dignity and respect.

Protect the idea of women in your life and in your fantasy worlds. Treat them with dignity and respect even on the internet, in virtual worlds or other environments like games. All the women in your life will sense when you respect and honor them and speak God's heart to them.

God made you. He made you to be great and do incredible things with your life. This is so frustrating and exhilarating at the same time! Like a little seed, your greatness takes time to grow. It can take decades of your life to reach your full potential!

That's a problem because you can feel your potential to rise, to conquer the world and to soar on the wings of an eagle, but you have to balance reaching for greatness with everyday life. That's where the tension builds. You have to stay content in the moment while you pay your bills, go to work and take care of what is around you.

However, God has also given you a couple responsibilities. Enter God's presence. Let the light of God reveal and expose any character issues inside you. Feed yourself with the Word of God so your seed of greatness can grow.

You can't change who you are - what the seed is inside of you. If you are an "oak tree" you'll become an oak. If you are a "pear tree" or an "orange tree" you will become one of those. You are who you are and you are what God made you. Your DNA won't change. Get in God's presence, be grateful and grow into the greatness God created in you.

I know there's a greater future for you, but I want you to enjoy who you are today. The future will come soon enough.

"Your mistakes do not define who Christ says you are!" Everyone is human and we all make mistakes. We hate when we say the dumbest possible thing at the wrong moment or do the stupidest thing imaginable or make a terrible choice at a time when we think no one else is looking.

I have been counseling people for 30 years and know that you are not your mistakes. Yes, that moment or incident happened, but that is one event over the millions of events that will happen over the course of your life. Take in the bigger picture of your life and gain the larger perspective.

Your mistake may expose something in you. It may reveal something in you that you need to address or change your decision making and gain more wisdom. However, it is not who you are. If you lie, steal, cheat, hurt someone else, have an abortion, have sex outside of marriage or don't pay your taxes, those are all mistakes. They are not who you are.

Addiction is everywhere. Alcohol, drugs, sex, porn, food, caffeine and shopping. The list goes on and on. Addictions are all around us and they become part of your heart. I am a recovering alcoholic, drug addict, sex addict, caffeine addict and sugar addict. I've been recovering from so many addictions that I understand addiction, but here is what I know: addiction is not me.

Addiction was me medicating something. Addiction was me trying to figure out how to get through the next day. But it's not who I am. Jesus Christ has come to set me free. I might need to be accountable to people. I might need to be in a support group. I might really need to deal with and address abuse or other stuff in my life, but I am not my addiction.

My addiction was a choice, and I don't choose it anymore. It's been over 30 years since I've had alcohol, done drugs, or looked at pornography. I understand freedom because I am free. The first words God spoke to Adam in Genesis was, "You are free."

You are free from addictions. You're stronger than any addiction process. Your spirit is greater than any addiction process. The Word of God is more powerful than addictions. Your fellowship and relationship with an accountability partner can help you move through and be more powerful then you ever thought possible.

If the devil tries to get you addicted it's because he's afraid of you. There's something in you that's greater than you and there's a destiny for you that's greater than any addiction that's come into your life in the past or your dealing with in the present.

Your abuse was an event in time, it shouldn't define who you are! #metoo #metoomovement

You are not your abuse. Abuse happens. I've been sexually abused. I've been phsycially abused. I've been abandoned. I've emotionally neglected. I understand spiritual neglect and abuse. I've been counseling people for over 30 years. I've heard and seen all types of stories of abuse.

You can begin to identify yourself with the abuse as if that is your identity. Your abuse is not you. Your abuse is an event that happened to you. It is a photograph in a longer movie and in that movie you are successful because Christ died for you. In that movie you can move past the abuse.

You don't have to be defined by the sexual or physical abuse because you are not those events. You don't have to be what your mom or dad did or didn't say to you because you are not those words.

You are bigger, greater, stronger and more powerful because Christ died for you - not just for the abuse that happened to you. You are bigger than that. You are going to go past that. You will pass time. You abuse is stuck at a point in time. You have out grown it. You are stronger than it and it will make you stronger.

Key points:

- When we see nakedness, we are seeing holiness. Nakedness is not there for our consumption, but instead are meant to protect it. Your response to nakedness shows your heart. Hopefully knowing this will help you separate lust from nakedness in your mind because you know that God made everyone in the image of Himself. Train yourself so your response to pornography is, "That's not my wife. This woman isn't mine. That's not my holiness to look at. I don't want to know that part of her."

- As a Christian man your sex organ has three owners:

1. God. Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."

2. Your present or future wife. 1 Cor 7:4 "The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife."

3. You. You have "bathroom rights only, so if you're not standing over a toilet, you are out of order."

- Follow the Chain of Authority: If your sexuality is not under the proper authority, you are going to have problems.

Before you move in a direction that is sexually inappropriate, train yourself to be accountable to your authorities.

Be accountable to your earthly spiritual authority first. For example, you call your pastor (or small group leader or someone similar) and ask permission to view porn or be sexual with yourself everytime you want to do it. How many of you think this alone would stop most of the sexual sin in the church today?

Be accountable to your wife as your second authority. For example, you call your present or future wife and ask if it's ok to view porn or be sexual with yourself. It could cure sex issues in the church if men would actually do this.

Be accountable to yourself and take the choice to act out of your hands and place it in the hands of those in authority. Being accountable will help you break free from lust and porn once you understand that your sex organ is not your own and that you are accountable.

- Start accountability groups:

Start a CLEAN Group, a Lust Free Group and a Freedom Group.

- Tell everyone about this free class. Most men won't go to a conference but they can watch this on their phone for free.

Dr. Doug Weiss, professional psychologist and president of AASAT, discusses in this 4th Session of our Clean Class the two ways Christians approach the problem of being clean or not and the two sided problem that can occur if we are not clean.

1 John 1:9 states that when we confess our sins to God, he will forgive us. However, the problem is that a lot of times Christians when confess their sins, they do it just between them and God, neglecting those they have relationships with and the rest of the people in their lives.

Forgiven yes, but you aren't healed from the impact of your sin. Prayed about it but you're not getting better. Why is that? Jesus can heal, but He has also given that power to the Body of Christ. He wants to heal through us and through each other.

James 5:16 states that if we confess our sins to each other as we pray for one another, we will be healed and our prayers will be effective.

It's a deal deal to confess your faults. Confession is not a strong suit a lot in the church, moreso people just cover the issue up.

It is important and often necessary to have someone to be accountable for when you sin.

The way we live in our community affects our prayer life, the way we connect with God, the clarity of what we ask Him, and how we worship Him. The closer we get to God, the more He will approach the secrets we hold onto and tell us that we have to deal with them.

Because of this lack of confession among our Christian brethren, we feel the reverse of James 5:16, no healing and unanswered prayers. Can't break free by only seeking and aiming for forgiveness alone. When we confess our sins to one another, miracles happen and you start getting free.

As the rest of this session goes deeper on these issues and clarifies them, one can see the importance of being forgiven and getting healing through confession. It can be painful, but be committed to do so, to have someone hold you accountable for your lifestyle. You can have a clean life, but not by making up the rules of engagement.
