Jill earned her PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2020 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in health services research at the Minneapolis VAHCS in 2023. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on promoting Native American and Indigenous peoples’ well-being across the lifespan. She is broadly interested in how Native peoples use their histories and cultures to overcome oppression and to support their healthy functioning.
