If who we are in Christ is real, then it should be evident in how we live.

In Part 1 of this series, we were challenged to consider the difference between being shaped by the power of sin and being led by the Spirit of God. And like them, we too must wrestle with the reality that we don’t just need protection from what’s around us… but from what’s within us.

So Jesus prayed.

He prayed for their faith. He prayed for their endurance. He prayed that what had been entrusted to them would not be lost—even when the enemy desired to sift them.

And in that prayer, we see the necessity of something greater than human effort: the covering, the keeping, and the unifying power of the Holy Spirit.

Because true security is not found in proximity to church… and true unity is not found in shared spaces.

They are found in a life anchored in God, shaped by truth, and sustained by His Spirit.

Because if Jesus prayed for it—there’s a reason you need it.
