We had another eclectic show that had us dropping some classics for our listeners to enjoy.
We started the show with the Afro Beats Culture and paid homage to some of the genre's pioneers.
Part two of the show was Mega Mix #21 "In the Dungeon" that had us push out sone old school but not forgotten soulful/deep house gems.
August is carnival month. The first hour of our show pays homage to some new reggae 2020 joints never played before. We also featured Julian Marley's new album, "As I am." Enjoy this one.
Part 2 of this show had us throw down a blend of HipHop and Afro House to keep the show jamming.
Although Rhumba music landed on the East Coast of the US in the 1930s, we don't hear it playing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's media market. As the GTO...Good Times Only Ambassadors, we re-introduced the culture of Rhumba music at room temperature to Pittsburgh. The two-hour set is commercial-free, pure nostalgic selections.
We look forward to playing more Rhumba in Pittsburgh. Enjoy this one and share it with someone new.
Part 2 of the show had us going into our enigmatic house selection that introduces people to this beautiful culture of artistic freedom. Enjoy this one and share it with at least one person who needs some cheer.
Part 1 of this show had us reminiscing our last year Toronto Caribana debut. We had major plans to attend this year's Carnival, but those plans were shelved. The Carnival was canceled, and Americans are temporarily not allowed into Canada. However, August is Summer Carnival month, and we introduce our listeners to the Soca Calypso music culture.
Enjoy this one, share it with at least one person. Thanks, you are the best.
Part 2 of the show had us going into our enigmatic house selection that introduces people to this beautiful culture of artistic freedom. Enjoy this one and share it with at least one person who needs some cheer.
Another week of us spinning some afro house gems on our weekly show. Enjoy this one, and take a few seconds to share it with a person that needs listening to something fresh.
Thanks and one luv.
Osi.
