For this episode of The All-Around Adventure Podcast, I'm joined by world traveler and medieval historian, Dr. Laura Di Stefano.

Dr. Di Stefano is originally from Sicily and she began traveling the world when she was 17 years old. Her love for travel and getting to interact with different cultures led her to grow significantly as a person. As she gained a lot of perspective from her experiences. This also furthered her passion for history, and she focused her university studies on medieval history. Eventually specializing in the history of travels from Venice to the far lands of the Middle East and the Orient for her PhD. Now she works full-time in luxury travel and shares her travel stories and historical insights through her blog, The Historian Traveller.

In this episode, Dr. Di Stefano tells us some of her travel stories and what she's learned from her experiences. She also shares her insights on history and luxury travel. Furthermore, we discuss how to stick with things that you set out to achieve. Even if they may take a while. Which in her case was going for her PhD.
