My former philosophy of emotions professor, Dr. Michael Milona, joins me to discuss what our emotions are, how they relate to other mental states and what role emotions might play in our coming to gain moral knowledge.  We end by discussing issues pertaining to emotional suffering and hope (the latter being Milona's most recent research focus).
