This morning we continue our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew as Jesus begins talking more particularly about last things. There are many things that will happen at the end of the age and many things that must happen before that time. Only God knows the time and the order of events, but it doesn't stop the disciples from asking. Jesus gives them a much unexpected answer to all their questions. Scripture text is Matthew 24:1-14.

Today we continue our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. Jesus warns his disciples as well as the crowds against the harmful hypocrisy of the Pharisees and Scribes. He pronounces seven "woes" against them in order to illustrate just how harmful their behavior has been. The nation of Israel has suffered because of it. Scripture text is Matthew 23:1-39.
This morning we continue our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. The Pharisees and Sadducees continue their quest to trap Jesus in his words by asking him loaded questions with nonsensical scenarios. Ultimately, they will realize their efforts are futile and take their diabolical plan to the next level. Scripture text is Matthew 22:23-46.
This morning we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Each gospel contains an account of the events of that beautiful Sunday morning, but today we turn our attention the gospel of Luke. What can we learn from the truth of the resurrection of Christ? Better still, what shall we do in response to this glorious truth? Scripture text is Luke 24:1-27, 44-48.
This morning, as we continue our study verse by verse through Matthew's gospel account, we consider the first of two attempted traps from the religious leaders of the day. The Pharisees continue to believe (falsely) they are smarter than everyone else, particularly Jesus. They believe they have a question for Jesus that will force him into conflict with some of the religious leadership. They could not have been more wrong. Scripture text is Matthew 22:15-22.
This morning we continue our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. This is now the third parable in a row Jesus uses to instruct the religious leaders of the day. They have rejected the prophets and now they reject the Son of God. How will the Lord respond to such rejection? Scripture text is Matthew 22:1-14.
This morning we continue in our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. Jesus is still speaking to the religious leaders of the day as they have confronted him in the temple. He tells them a parable about a landowner and some wicked tenants. The irony is palpable as Jesus is talking about them. Scripture text is Matthew 21:33-46.
This morning marks the first of six revival services taking place this week. Our guest preacher, Dr. Adam Hensley, will explore the depths of sin present in the current culture using the book of Romans as a backdrop. Romans 1 paints a vivid picture of the depravity of mankind, revealing the reason for God's wrath abiding over the world. The only hope for redemption is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
This morning we continue our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. Jesus has entered Jerusalem, asserting his identity as the Messiah of God. He has cleansed the temple of wicked merchants. Unfortunately, there are still those who doubt his authority. Scripture text is Matthew 21:23-32.
