Just how many truly know what they are asking for is questionable; Increasing your self-esteem means shedding the image you have of yourself and finding the courage to take action and face fears. The very fears that created the image in the first place.

The Path To Freedom continues. This is my personal codependency journey

Those of you who have been following the blog will be aware that I am currently in the midst of a period of reflection. Reaching 60 has got me thinking about my life to this point and how it might look going forward. I am trying to become aware of who I really want to be as a person, the basis for my recent article. At long last, I’m making an effort to come to grips with my codependency and define who I really am. I am not my relationships or the blurred lines that often exist in codependent identity. Somewhere along the path to 60, I got lost with the idea that I don’t matter but other people do. Here I talk about the Path to Freedom.

When you are knowingly aware that you are doing or not doing something that could move you forward, you are living a lie. It starts as a small lie and turns into a much larger lie that tells you "I can't". While living this lie, we look only for the evidence that will uphold this lie and reject counter evidence.
