According to a new study, SEXTING is way up right now. And you can see the evidence on Twitter.
In the past month, tweets that say "coronavirus" and also have a word like "nudes" or "[d***] pics" are up 384%. And tweets using the eggplant or peach emoji are up 46%.
Dr. Helen Fisher, the science advisor for Match.com, says there's a connection between self-isolation and getting all sexually charged up.
Quote, "Quarantine adds stress, [which] triggers the fight or flight response. This elevates testosterone in both men and women, [which] then triggers production of . . . natural stimulants that produce sexual arousal."
