Dr Sittambalam Rajasundaram of Petts Wood is committed to the modernization of medical facilities in the Tamil region of Sri Lanka. Working with the Medical Institute of Tamils (MIOT), Dr Sittambalam Rajasundaram of Petts Wood has contributed to the growth of Moolai Cooperative Hospital, advising on updates in equipment, guidelines, infrastructure, and facilities.

Dr Rajasundaram Petts Wood is an active member in the UK's Tamil community. He is a passionate advocate for the improvement of medical facilities in Sri Lanka and has helped fund the modernization of a hospital there. Dr Rajasundaram, Petts Wood has two sons. His wife, is also a healthcare professional, working as a speech and language therapist.
