Today we sit down with Dr. Rick Strassman. Dr. Strassman is currently an American clinical associate professor of psychiatry at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. From 1990 to 1995, Dr. Strassman led a U.S. Government-approved and funded clinical research team at the University of New Mexico, studying the effects of N, N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) on human subjects in experimental conditions. Dr. Strassman is the president and co founder of the Cottonwood research institute. He is also the author of DMT: The Spirit Molecule, Inner Paths to outer space, DMT The soul of prophecy, and Joseph Levy escapes death. We will discuss his research with DMT, his thoughts on metaphysics, his books, and where he stands now with all the research that has happened since his groundbreaking trials.
