He also sat on two diabetes boards at Philadelphia’s Jefferson Hospital. Marc has been a guest speaker on many television and radio programs over his lengthy career and has been a speaker at hundreds of diabetes-related events. He has written many stories that have been published in national diabetes publications and in a number of books in the diabetes field. Marc is the recipient of The Joslin Diabetes Center’s 50-Year Medal. This award is given to people who have lived with Type 1 diabetes for 50 years or more who are currently in the Joslin Diabetes Center’s International Study for 50-Year Medalists.
