In this episode of Bring the Pain, I reviewed UFC 319, which featured Dricus Du Plessis facing off against Khamzat Chimaev. We all know by now that Chimaev is the new champion, and rightfully so after the way he dominated Du Plessis. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I talked about the Fantasy Football Expo and UFC Vegas 109, which featured Dolidze vs. Hernandez. So I started off the show by talking about the Fight Club of Pain's articles and bets from the show before heading into my picks for the week, which I was 11-1 on again. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I go all out after an amazing weekend. From the Bayfront Brawl to the UFC, I talked about how great it was to watch all of that and WWE's Summerslam as well. At first, I talked about Bizzaros MMA and Boxing Promotions, who is responsible for the Bayfront Brawl. Then I dove right into Summerslam since all three of these events were happening at the same time on Saturday. In the end, I have a quick review of how UFC 108 went along with our bets and DFS lineups as well. It was a wild weekend where I didn't have a lot of exposure to the sites due to being busy, but you'll get the vibes off this episode once you hear how jacked up I am. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I decided to change it up a little bit and interview Angelo, who is the creator of We Want Picks. We Want Picks is a team of content creators who focus on UFC betting and DFS information. On top of that, they have a ton of wonderful tools that many other MMA sites don't have. Tools like a Draftkings optimizer, fight theory, and even a fight simulator that is one of a kind. During the episode, Angelo and I discussed the current state of the UFC and why it's continued to grow despite many of the sites being scared to offer products due to the volatility of this sport. This was an amazing interview that spans from the early days of Rice Gracie and Ken Shamrock to the current roster of athletes that are taking over the sport. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I talked about my recent trip to Buffalo, NY, to do a live draft for my Scott Fish Bowl 15 team this year. The day started out by picking up my buddy, Dave, who attended the live with me. Once we arrived, we decided to try some of the craft beers they had in draft at the Fattey Beer Company. This location was in the historical Wurlitzer building in which many other shops and breweries are attached as well. After the wait, the draft starts, and from there, the true meaning of fantasy football came out. We all laughed and made picks while some of us tried the chicken sandwich. That was definitely a thumbs up in my book, so come take a journey with me as we talk about drafts, random trips to Canada, and good Ole Craft Beers.
