Psychology is in everyday life.
In fact, the sales industry depends on exploiting people's Psychological weaknesses. In this podcast, I have shed some light on the Contrast effect.
Next time you buy a car or a mobile be careful.
Words are the most destructive weapons if used carelessly. I am sure you have repeatedly fired a salvo and lost the relationships. This has happened to me in the past but not anymore.
I know many people who know this pitfall but still make the same mistake.
Next time be mindful and use this 10-second rule before you shoot that nasty arrow. I am sure you will not repent later.
Yes!
Thats true. I have experienced it. We can't separate emotions from us. We believe in our emotions and get cheated thinking they are true and telling us the real picture.
This impacts our mood and decisions. I am sure this podcast will help you regulate your emotions and hence your mood.
Unconditional self-acceptance (USA) is accepting yourself completely, without conditions, regardless of your flaws, failures, or successes.
You accept that, as a fallible human being, you are less than perfect. You will often perform well, but you will also err (make mistakes) at times… You should always and unconditionally accept yourself without judgment.
I know this is a mammoth task but not impossible.

The mind is mysterious, and scientists have now been able to unravel the puzzling games it plays on us.

The most revered institute in India is undoubtedly IIT. I got an opportunity to experience that culture for 3 years. I was in awe of the culture and talent around me during my tenure.
The packages and the opportunities that were bestowed upon the students were mind-boggling. This made me feel inferior and like a failure.
But the same IIT Mumbai called me to train the students in public speaking and communication skills. They will contact you if you are special. You don't need to be a topper to go to IIT but you must be an IITan in your field. Whichever it is.
One of my relatives told me the story of a talented fresher who was the best in coding and was recruited directly without any HR interview but was fired after 1 month. Achieving early success that too based on your innate talent can harm you more than anything else.
This is true in every walk of life.
In schools, punishment is prohibited by law. But during my school days, we were punished and it was normal. My dad was a teacher and he believed in punishment.
My Math teacher Nilkhant sir punished me and I was humiliated in front of the entire class.
This one incident shaped my life. I hated that punishment but everything changed one day.
I know many people who are negative and look at the world as a dangerous place to live in.
I agree that we are designed to be negative or sceptical will be a better word but our negativity has reached a new level. Thanks to YouTube.
