On Saturday, May 30, 2015, Pastor Earl Harrison, quietly left on his well planned journey to his new home in glory, where he is already in fellowship with Jesus, the center of his joy; and all of his family and friends who were awaiting his arrival. In sweet peace, he departed this life of 52 years doing what he loved the most at the WTZO/WEOM 103.1 Radio Station.

He received his formal education at Bennettsville High School in Bennettsville, South Carolina. He later attended Davidson County Community College in Lexington, North Carolina.
“Earl” would tell everyone that his greatest joy was taking care of “his family” and his love of the radio station and the community. Family meant everything to him and he would do anything for anybody just to see them smile. He never met a stranger and he found a friend in everyone. He had a love for people and a passion for serving. He was a very active member in the communities that he served. He enjoyed talking on the radio. Earl accepted Christ as his Personal Savior at an early age and joined Saw Mill Missionary Baptist Church and later founded World Evangelistic Outreach Ministries where he served as the Pastor. Pastor Earl Harrison has been preaching the gospel for over twenty –seven years. Earl Harrison was united in holy matrimony to Shelia Davis on April 15, 1995 in Thomasville, North Carolina. Their union was blessed with five wonderful children. Pastor Earl Harrison was the Owner/Operator/Co-Founder of the WEOM/WTZO 103.1 Radio Station.
