Today I am speaking about what is wealth, how to generate wealth, the victim mentality and strategies to overcome it. 

One of the main universal misconceptions about wealth is that it only belongs to certain people. Another misconception is that wealth simply means being rich. However, a general pattern of behaviour can be detected upon studying the lives of super ultra-successful and wealthy people. This episode is about those behaviours and how, by adopting some of these behaviours, you can also take your wealth to another level.

Welcome to Episode 2: On grief and navigating its contours with resilience. 

Episode two on grief and navigating its contours with resilience is coming out today. In this episode, I reference a lot of work done by the wonderful @hubermanlab episode on grief, and I think those findings to my research on resilience. 

From a brain point of view, grief is akin to motivational states,  hence the persistent desire to seek something or reach to be close to someone. When we lose loved ones and things, the brain, as a predictive tool, engages in efforts that are not to our best adaptive benefits. These efforts are states of wishful thinking, denial, deep restlessness after loss, anger, and even guilt. 

To build resilience and navigate loss more effectively, learning how our brain builds or "codes" our relationships is crucial. 

The brain codes the map of relationship based on the following three parameters 

1) time 

2) space 

3) closeness or proximity 

Grief disrupts this dynamic. In this episode, in Persian, I explain the findings of @hubermanlab and how I used residence strategies to navigate the loss of my father, relationships, ending of jobs, and even the loss of objects that held sentimental value to me.

Welcome to the first episode of my podcast. I am Dr Shima Beigi; I have a PhD in the resilience of complex systems and am CEO and co-founder of TAI/T inc, an AI and blockchain company that builds Mindful Smart Cities. 

In this first episode which is recorded in Persian, I will show you how you can use the power of language and connecting words such as "and" in reprogramming your mind and releasing negative thoughts. 

The way you think impacts the quality of your life. It is often said that thoughts create reality, but how exactly? What is the science behind it, and what protocols can we use to build a better and more resilient mindset. 

Your brain is similar to a computer. You can programme it. Without being aware, you are reinforcing or weakening its wiring every day. Many factors influence your brain's wiring, of which many can be controlled and even improved. In this episode, I describe the function of RAS or reticular activating system and its role in forming your reality. 

RAS mediates between your subconscious and conscious mind. RAS can be imagined as a gatekeeper or a goalkeeper that ensures your inner and outer reality are congruent. However, RAS is not responsible for QUALITY CONTROL of your output. For example, it does not know if your limiting beliefs are not doing you any good. Any command sent to this amazing system is sure to be delivered flawlessly. 

Give it great ideas = Receive great outcomes.
Give it limiting ideas = Receive small and mediocre outcomes.

In this episode, I show you how you can programme your amazing friend RAS; I share with you daily practices you can do to improve your reality and your ability to stay above the chaos of the world and others' projections.
