FEATURING ANN MARIE BENITEZ - Politico on Monday published a bombshell report on a leaked draft of a Supreme Court decision to overturn the Roe Vs. Wade abortion precedent. Although abortion rights advocates were expecting the six conservatives on the court to do this, it still came as a gut-punch.

According to Politico, “A George W. Bush appointee who joined the court in 2006, [Justice Samuel] Alito argues that the 1973 abortion rights ruling was an ill-conceived and deeply flawed decision that invented a right mentioned nowhere in the Constitution and unwisely sought to wrench the contentious issue away from the political branches of government.”
