Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to you, now eat a moon-cake!

It is a little temple, that puts up this decoration every year to celebrate the mid-autumn festival.

The little cafe on the bottom left is where I usually eat dinner and watch the people pass by…real city dining.

Haylo everyone!

Well as you can see from this picture I’ve been “Mickey’d” at Hong Kong’s latest attraction, DisneyLand.

In Cantonese, it is “Dik sih neih” which has no meaning as it is just an alliteration. However, if you modify it slightly and say “Gik sei neih” it means “Irritate You to Death”.

Which is how I felt standing in the long lines. Literally, 1-2 hours waiting in line, without the “Fast Pass” for some of the attractions.

Highlights for me were the 3-D movie, and Space Mountain. The “Cha-Siu Hon-Bou-Baau” was not as tasty as real “Cha-Siu-Baau” (Disney tried to adapt local culture and made a hamburger like version of the famous dim-sum item pork bun).
