A lot of times we hear the four basic emotions to describe our emotional state. Sad! Mad! Happy! or Afraid.

This episode dives into the depth and understanding that there is subtle differences in emotions that are necessary to know in order to claim yourself as emotionally intelligent.

Learning to heal emotions goes a lot quicker when we understand in better detail WHAT emotion we are feeling.

I am ANGRY! I am livid at the state of the world. There is horrible ugly no good nothing that is happening and I am not afraid to tell God how angry I am. In fact I told God he needed to take action on human trafficking and the selling of our children and I wasn't very nice to him. I wanted to blame him for what was happening.

God wasn't mad at me when I did so. He didn't belittle me or turn from me. He sat with me, and comforted me. And this is my story of how I prayed different and stepping into hallowed ground with my father in heaven.

However, I know that God can take care of me even when I do tell him off. He can guide me to finding peace. And he can help me feel comfortable even when this world is uncomfortable.

Carissa and I met when she had moved across the country, her first time ever away from home and family, to a small town for her career that she has been working for for the last 11 years as the VP of operations. She describes her personal life as imploding and she found herself in the darkest place in her life.  She found herself stressed constantly and felt like her life wasn’t real. She even shares how she found herself afraid of her own thoughts. 

Alone and waiting for her family to relocate to where she lived, in a high stress business, overwhelmed and for the first time in her life she felt stuck on the other side of a glass wall and she could see the life she wanted but she couldn’t touch it. She knew something needed to change in order to find peace in her mind and the life she desires.

After working with me Carissa has found herself facing her fears in confidence. She reached out to someone important in her life the she NEVER thought would happen. She found herself stepping into and through forgiveness. She began her journey of going after her dreams and changed her career and she walked through this confidence and self trust that she never knew was possible, until after we began working together.

As an entrepreneur I recently found myself in a place of burnout. I know that this is not unique to me and that many other entrepreneurs have felt before. I want to ask you a few questions to you as I am wondering if you have found yourself dealing with burnout? I'm wondering if that part of your life you loved and thrived in has become overwhelming and it seems as if it will never end.

I have worked myself into a job related Burnout. Oh HOW exhausting it feels not paying attention to my needs and pushing myself beyond my manifester strategy and authority limits. As a manifester in human design, it is important for me to rest during my rest phases and I will tell you the truth. . . I didn't rest and I found myself in a burnout! I KNOW I am not the only manifester or projector to find myself here.

Job burnout is a special type of work-related stress — a state of physical or emotional exhaustion that also involves a sense of reduced accomplishment and loss of personal identity.

I want to ask you the questions you need to hear in order to find out if you too are experiencing Job related Burnout or maybe if your stepping into burnout and what you can do in order to take care of yourself.

"We're not ourselves when we're triggered. We become who we think we need to be to survive. And when we are constantly being triggered, our identity can start to slip away. Because our personality and values are constantly getting hijacked by fight or flight reflexes.

I started this journey of finding myself and my identity YEARS ago and I remember once saying to someone I had dated "Thats not me, I'm not that person you think I am." And I then remember asking myself, "Do I even know who I am?"

Not long later did I find astrology and step into the foundation of who I am and really begin the journey of choosing the aspects of me I like and want and accept. I began to take intentional action and found freedom in finding myself.

The most recent aspect of me finding myself and choosing into who I want to become is Rose Gold. I choose to be a Rose Gold woman because I love that color. And now I sleep with a rose gold every day.

I have not been shy about my journey through trauma and being diagnosed with CPTSD, or otherwise known as Complex Trauma. I spent multiple months to a year of emotional flashbacks and physical flashbacks to trauma ALL DAY LONG and it was so very physically exhausting and emotionally exhaustion.

My emotions were so overwhelming that I did not know how to process them. I found myself in a maze of emotional loops that were terrifying, and I felt like I would never be free or break out of this maze. No matter what I did I felt like I was lost deeper and deeper into the pains and depths of hell.

I dive into this topic of emotional topic of the maze I was lost in. I dive into how to not give up when I was called drama when I was dealing with trauma. I dive into how I found myself free from this maze and I invite you to listen to this episode with the hope that there is another side to the pain.

I am walking, breathing, living proof that there IS another side to the pain.

In this episode I want to talk about how I came to find myself through finding parts of myself through multiple avenues. Astrology is one avenue and the Internal Family Systems model by Richard Schwarts is another model.

Astrology is a way to look at the personality through different parts of our personality. Each planet has its own frequency by being placed in its own sign in your natal chart and that brings its own unique aspects to parts of who you are in the journey of finding the self.

IFS is a model of therapy that talks about how "parts" of the self can take over when the self feels unable to take on a task and these parts have their own personalities that can either help or hurt.

Lust, The conversation that makes many people uncomfortable to talk about, yet here we are diving into the 7th and final deadly emotion.

We have all felt this emotion, some to a greater extent than other. Some at the detriment of the self and in the worst case scenarios the detriment of others. Lets briefly dive into this emotion to find an understanding that there is a root to the emotion of lust and unless we choose to look at the beginning of the cycles of the emotion, we will continue to act on lust to some degree or another.

I Don't want to this to be a triggering topic but this emotion when completely unbridled has been the cause of pain in many lives. Healing from that pain will be another conversation for another time.

So join in to look at healing the root of lust.
