Starting with the Sabbath, Jesus teaches His disciple many truths that we can relate.

The unpardonable sin, signs of the times, relationships and why does he only teach some in parables.

Chapter 13 goes on the tell us about the sower, the mustard seed, hidden treasures, a costly pearl and He visits Nazareth.

This episode tells us, as disciples how hard the road will be.

We have a reward of eternal life. 

Jesus gives a tribute to John. 

The unrelenting cities and the coming of Jesus.

The warning to those who do not receive you, in the name of The Lord.

This episode helps us to understand the importance of faith. Each time

we see those with incurable diseases and sickness being healed

because they had faith. Like Matthew, some will be called to a higher

service than others and fasting is a personal practice, not to be

shouted from the house tops.

Christ tells us, it is right to give to the poor. We don't have to sound a trumpet, just give. Likewise when we pray, don't do it for show, but privately pray for the things of concern and the world. The Father knows our needs already.

Fasting is also done, without letting everyone know, by your gloomy appearance. We are to do it in private. 

Our eyes should not always be on the things of the world, such as how much can we acquire. We shouldn't store up earthly things which will past away.

God will take care of us. We are more important than the Lillies of the field. We aren't to worry about what we will eat or drink, or what clothing we will be able to buy for ourselves.

Finally, we are not to judge others. We are to pray for others and treat them as we would want to be treated. We will be known by the way we treat others and our walk of life. What kind of person are we will show our fruit. Is it bad or good fruit?

This last episode of the book of Acts shows how nothing, not even a poison bite, can keep Paul appointed journey to Caesar and the church at Rome.

Paul heals Publius' father, and many others at Malta.

Paul is able to minister to many who come to visit him, even though he has a prison guard with him.

Paul appeals to the elders and leaders in Rome to accept Christ, as revealed in the Law and the Prophets, as the Messiah.

This episode shows us how many times others are blessed just to be with us.

Paul is determined to go to Rome to minister, in spite of the consequences, he will preach Jesus raising again.

Paul warns that this journey might costs them their lives.

An angel lets Paul know that as long as they stay on board the ship, they will all be saved.

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Shipwreck, but no lost of lives.

Many times we experience difficulties because we don't listen to the Lord, but he is forgiving and allows us to come out of it, torn but with our lives

This episode shows how Paul is not afraid of the gospel, nor is he ashamed.

Paul has such a powerful testimony, King Agrippa get convicted and thinks seriously about The Faith.
