This is the third lecture in a series made for the master course Drawing as a Tool for Thinking done at NTNU in Trondheim.

In this lecture I go through the concept of detail and abstraction related to drawing. The ability to abstract information to a suitable degree is crucial to be able to communicate clearly when drawing, and I try to break down the topic in a simple but useful way.
