We love to picture the first Christmas as peaceful and quiet… but Luke 1–2 tells a far more honest, and far more beautiful, story.

In this episode, we look closely at Mary’s encounter with Gabriel, the reality of overcrowded Bethlehem, the rough setting of the manger, and the shepherds’ wild night. And through it all, we discover this truth:

Tune in for a hope-filled, Scripture-rich reminder that Immanuel steps into real life, not polished moments.

The Bible isn't about me. It's about God, every single page is about Him. When we study Scripture with purpose, we stop looking for quick fixes and start seeing who God really is - His character, His promises, and His redemption plan. In this episode, we learn:

It's not head knowledge, it's heart transformation. Let's discover God in every verse!

It's easy to forget how powerful and essential God is when we live in the world. Psalm 46, written for Israel in captivity, reminds us that He is a sovereign God, exalted over everything. Stop fighting and let God be God!

Join Shelly Ginter and me as we dive into the story of the adulteress woman. We have questions and theories about this passage, but we also find Truth, the truth that reminds us of the importance of mercy and repentance.

I'm solo for this week's podcast. Let's dive into Psalm 34, a personal favorite of mine. It's the Psalm I chose when my Mom suggested I find a Psalm to make my own, and it's the one that got me through clinical depression.

John 17 is my favorite prayer in the Bible. Jesus' prayer is a beautiful depiction of his authority and his love for his disciples and us. Listen in as Kandie Horton and I talk about this prayer and all it means.

My friend Kandie Horton and I dive into the Magnificat, or Mary's Song, to see what her words teach us about her life and character.

In the Whisper is also doing a scripture memorization in 2024. We are currently working on John 17. You can join us in the Facebook group Stepping into the Bible.

There is so much division in our world. There is so much division within the church. Today, we look at a story about the courage and faith of the second man on the cross. The man, just hours away from death, soon found himself in paradise. Let's look at how this story simplifies the journey to heaven.
