Drawn Out Cast

It's the War Time! Join us as we discuss Der Feuhrer's Face, The Spirit of '43, and Donald Duck Gets Drafted! Then stick around and listen to our discussion of Victory Through Air Power. This week we go over some personal history in fascist empires and discuss the importance of war propoganda films.

Der Feuhrer's Face contains yellow face and a lot of Nazi imagery.

All of this week's shorts, and our feature, contain Nazi imagery.

Victory Through Air Power is a dry documentary on the history of the airplane. Maybe you just want to listen to us talk about it before you decide if you want to watch this one. It's not at the top of many Disney Favorites lists.

Join us as we talk about Moose Hunt, one of the earliest appearances of Pluto, and Bambi! Neither Brooke nor Chase have any nostalgia factor about Bambi and we still loved the heck out of it. It's a great film, so go watch it then come talk about it with us.

Welcome back to Drawn Out! Dumbo had both your hosts in tears, so if you're emotional like us, you may want to grab a box of tissues. We also watched The Wise Little Hen, which is the first appearance of Donald, and dig into some of Chase's favorite Disney characters of all time.

This week Brooke and Chase watch the first appearance of Goofy, back when he was known as Dippy Dawg! We also broke into the vault (aka dug up our old VHS tapes) and watched all of Fantasia, all two hours of it. Join us as we discuss just how formative it was on us as children!

Fantasia and The Whoopee Party both contain blackface. Fantasia's is censored from most copies and it is not hard to find a copy of Whoopee Party that is also censored.
