I've been hunting everyday since November 5th and wanted to share my 2021 gun season rut report for Kentucky.  Here are my observations and observations from my buddies going into opening day of the 2021 Kentucky gun season.  Best of luck to everyone and stay safe.

A very productive way to have green and grain food plots is to broadcast oats, wheat, or rye into a picked cornfield or bean field (Get farmers permission).  It is not to late to do this, especially with these warm temperatures.  Check out this podcast to learn more.

A tactic that has proven very effective to getting pics of new bucks and getting them to stop in front of your stand is a rub and scrape tree.  On this show, Josh and Drew discuss how to put one up, the benefits of it, and tips to make it very attractive to bucks.

I did a lesson at church this past week on Jairus in Mark chapter 5 and wanted to share that lesson here.  Jairus came to Jesus about his daughter that was very sick.  Jesus agreed to go with Jairus and tend to his sick daughter, but maybe didn't come as fast as Jairus would like.  What can we learn from that?

Overhearing[a] what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”  Mark 5:36
