God has been giving us a lot of revelation in the area of union with Jesus. Now, He's helping us see that the way we remain in the posture of union is not only devotion, but to be joined with spiritual fathers that make sure the purity and perseverance of what we're encountering, remains in tact. You can be joined to what appeals to your comfortability, or you can be joined to what appeals to your best interest.

Christ lived perfect in works because the law required perfection by works. But on the other side of the crucifixion and resurrection, works have no power to make us perfect. Union now makes us perfect. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is empowerment to live in the union that Christ purchased with His life. Now, every gift of the Spirit is Christ manifesting the kingdom world in the natural world. "On earth as it is in Heaven"

God will always empty us of what keeps us from our potential before He sends us into our potential. A lot of times, this is viewed negatively because in the moment, it's uncomfortable. If we have eyes to see it though, we can actually find joy in the emptying because we know it's preceding a goodness we've never had access to.

Union is our potential and our protection. We only become vulnerable to inferior identity when distance is placed between us and the one we were designed to be joined to.

Perfection has little to do with works and much to do with relation of freedom from shame

Why emptying precedes resonating and yielding is the only responsibility.

Two blind men were the first, other than the wise men at Jesus’ birth, to correctly identify who Jesus was. They did this before they manifested their miracle; sight. We must be led by what we hear rather than what we see because being led by what we hear is actually what qualifies us to see what no eye has seen; who Jesus really is.

Elijah spent all of 1 Kings 17 listening and moving off of the word of the Lord. But in 1 Kings 18, Elijah transitions into a "see first" consciousness and leads him to responding to Jezebel in 1 Kings 19 with wanting to die. Moving off of what you see will never posture you in rest. Moving off of the whisper will always result in a posture of rest.

You can either live by what you hear, or you can live by what you hear. If faith comes through hearing, we must be a people who live and move based on the word of the Lord, not on what we see in our circumstances.
