Have you ever been afraid you’re going to miss what God has for you?

Two unexpected opportunities came into my life.

I was excited, but I was also hesitant. I started looking for signs, questioning circumstances, and wondering whether my hesitation was actually discernment—or whether fear was disguising itself as discernment.

Then I read Luke 11:29–32, where Jesus speaks about the sign of Jonah and the people who demanded a sign.

And something stopped me.

What if sometimes we’re so focused on asking God for another sign that we’re overlooking what He has already given us?
