Xinwei is a home grown sculptor in Singapore who has had a passion for the arts since young. She moved to the United States soon after high school to learn more about the fine arts and worked as an installation artist afterwards. More recently, Xinwei moved back to Singapore to open up her own studio where she spends her free time doing what she does best -- sculpting! We sat down with Xinwei in her studio on a humid Sunday afternoon to find out more about her work and what drove her to follow her dreams.

Today, we are able to fly across the world in less than a day but it took Clarence 8 months. After graduating from the University of Manchester, he decided to make his way home to Singapore by hitchhiking, couch surfing and traveling overland (for the most part) - taking him to places such as Kazakhstan, North Korea, Iran, Palestine etc. To date, he has traveled to a staggering 85 countries and we are sure the number won't stop there anytime soon.
