As a small child, she was very precocious and developed a sense of meticulousness fairly early. Tenille established her singing skills while singing in the Children’s Choir at the First Born Church of the Living God (Orlando), where her mother served as choir director and her father was a minister. She and her older brother Trenton were raised in an environment heavily centered on church activities. After her parents divorced in 2008, church became less of a priority for Tenille. A self-described “daddy’s girl”, the disintegration of her nuclear family structure affected key changes within her.It was, however, singing and music that remained guiding forces in her life and that served as focal points for the budding songstress.

The 2nd oldest of three children, and the only male child, Bar Lingo, a.k.a B.L. was thrust into the role of an adult navigating the responsibilities of being a son, a brother, and ultimately a provider with little to no guidance or direction…except that which was provided from the streets. Moving around place to place eventually led him to Clinton, MD.  Running throughout life without interpersonal role models to look up to, he turned his ears to rap/hip-hop and instantly fell in love.  Love for the compassion and soul awakening life-force behind the power of lyrics ultimately inspired Tylan to pursue a rap career.  This passion is evident when you hear his heartfelt lyrics.  You can hear the pain and visualize his journey which makes you want to listen more.

Not only did this album sell out, but it also got her, her first licensing deal in the UK with a label called "Street Cultrue Records". This would not be Nichelle's only deal in the UK, which is where her biggest fan base seems to be. Her Sophomore Project, "Millenaire", which is still available on i-tunes as well as the internet and some stores got her another deal with a label called, "Cafedesoul Records".
