For this second episode I'm introducing you to Oscar Wild, and "The Picture of Dorian Gray".  The Picture of Dorian Gray" tells the story of a young and handsome man named Dorian Gray who becomes the subject of a portrait painted by his friend Basil Hallward. Dorian becomes increasingly influenced by the hedonistic philosophy of Lord Henry Wotton, leading him to indulge in a life of pleasure and excess. As Dorian remains youthful and beautiful, his portrait ages and bears the physical toll of his sinful lifestyle. Dorian's pursuit of pleasure ultimately leads to his moral decay and downfall, while the portrait serves as a haunting reflection of his inner corruption. The novel explores themes of vanity, morality, and the consequences of living a life devoid of ethical boundaries.
