Well last week Representative Drew Springer called me “Fake News” when I talked about his support for taxpayer funded lobbying
#FakeNews. Ask Freedom Caucus Chair @mayes_middleton. The bill would’ve died if his hard work to find a passable bill w/ other on committee hadn’t been substituted. He picked the strongest member not the weakest! Proud to be endorsed by Mayes & @BriscoeCain #txlege https://t.co/v05yVYvUBA

@DrewSpringer opposes taxpayer funded lobbying the same way JD Sheffield opposes abortion. https://t.co/e5w3cQkmjB

Representative Jeff Leach joined the chorus (I’m hopeful that Jeff just didn’t know the facts before talking).
Don’t pay attention to this guy, Drew. He lost his way and stopped caring about facts and the truth a long time ago.

Springer is trying to throw Mayes Middleton and Briscoe Cain under the bus in defense of his record but so far they aren’t taking the bait.
Today is a more educational episode. The facts around Drew Springer’s record, and his willingness to straight up lie about them, is incredibly revealing. I hope this revelation of facts to his colleagues may cause some of them to second guess whether they want Drew to be promoted to a more powerful position.

We take 30 minutes to not only lay out the facts ourselves but we bring you recorded footage from the Texas House floor where you hear Mayes Middleton, Kyle Biedermann and Dade Phelan reveal themselves just how out of touch Drew Springer is with rural Texas.
This episode gets into the weeds but I think it’s a trip worth taking for conservative Texans.
