Listen Now to Future News 12.27.2016 Indeed, it’s a sad day when we lose a princess, especially one we grew up with, who has been an inspiration to many across the galaxy. Carrie Fisher we miss you, not for just the great roles you have played, but also bringing awareness to big issues like mental health and drug abuse in our current culture. First Solar Roadway in Normandy, FranceIt’s also a time when Solar and Wind are finally reaching a price point where they can compete directly with oil as an energy source as the cost of these renewables continues to precipitously drop. So not only will we see solar roof tiles, as espoused by Solar City and Elon Musk, but we’ll see innovations like solar roadways that generate their own power for lighting.  The first prototype is now operational in Normandy, France and is a kilometer long! And sadly, it appears that space radiation may interfere with our endo cannabinoid system, affecting our ability to experience being high in space. And then there are the Google A.I.’s that are sending encrypted messages to each other that we cannot crack.  So naturally Google has tasked another A.I. to crack the messages of the two communicating, so far unsuccessfully. Not to be outdone, the cannabis entrepreneurs are busy too, notably MaraPharm in Las Vegas, as they explore not just the US but Canadian markets.. Exciting times ahead! This triggers a conversation on the nature consciousness itself with caller Colonel Terry, who shares a profound near death experience and why he chose to come back.  Enjoy!      

Listen Now to Future News 12.06.2016 After a whirldwind trip to LA, we have been entrusted with a cosmic Mayan Time Map of the Future! More on that soon.. Meanwhile, lots of juicy stories are discussed this week, including a plan to take our reality TV star president to new heights of media awareness.  And finally Virgin Galactic has taken flight once again, re-entering the world of Space Tourism.  And it is with a bit of sadness that we announce the first drone gun, designed to take down drones from over a mile away..it was inevitable, however, and it is designed not to destroy them, but to land them safely. Medically we are excited about the use of ultrasound and electromagnetics for healing!   A big concern this week is how we see the rise of “Googe-ocracy,” which could be perceived as the dumbing down of the populace by giving you specific choices in your search queries. A couple of callers chimed in on this one.  We are a bit concerned as well about Crazy Ants, which are taking over fire ant colonies in Texas, and have a preference for nesting in our electrical outlets and cell phones.  Alien cyborgs?  And now that one in three babies are being born via Ceasarians, are we mutating the species to have bigger heads that cannot be born via the birth canal? There is some evidence for this..but not to worry, keep yourself amused with Google Earth’s new Timelapse feature that allows you to look at a spot on the planet over time.  Very fun and useful too..  Enjoy!!

Terry.  Then, at about 45 minutes into the show, a mysterious boom hit our local bioregion, the Monterey Bay. For the rest of the show, no more politics as we fielded call after call about the strange sound and vibrations in our neighborhood.  What actually happened?  We explore the possibility of an earthquake, a sonic boom, a thunder storm, an industrial accident.. No one knows as of this writing..
